THE STAR

Based conceptually off The Star tarot card, of which this collection is named, these four looks each celebrate individual components of the larger ASTERIA aesthetic coming together to create a crystallised ‘final form’. Presented in a gradient of white to gold then crystal that represents the alchemical transformation of a common material into a precious metal and it’s most valuable form, reflecting my own transformation as I transition.

This essence of alchemical transformation takes on another form to represent the crystallisation of my hopes and ambitions for the future, both in fashion and burlesque work. I want to be the shining morning star, so slightly more divine than human, reaching towards an unknown future with stars in my eyes and my soul worn as a mantle.
